In Patan, a widowed daughter of a very poor family of a Devi Pujak community was burnt to death by a moneylender. We visited the family's house, paid tribute to the daughter, met the local police officers for strict action and adopted the orphaned son and daughter by the trust and all their education expenses were borne by Shri Leelan Mangal Charitable Trust, Ahmedabad.

We feel a sense of sharing in the pain of the poor family in this tragic and heartbreaking incident of the society...
